Mr. Gautier is an Associate Attorney at Schumann|Rosenberg. Mr. Gautier’s practice focuses primarily on insurance defense, business and civil litigation, and general liability matters. Additionally, Mr. Gautier has significant experience assisting with Bankruptcy (Chapters 7 & 13), Real Estate, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance, Proposition 65 compliance, and transactional business matters.

In addition to being admitted to the California and Oregon State Bars, Mr. Gautier is also licensed to practice law before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States Tax Court. Mr. Gautier is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, the OCBA Taxation Section, the Taxation Law Section of the State Bar of California and the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association.

Additionally, Mr. Gautier has a wide range of educational credentials. While earning his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from California State University, Fullerton, Mr. Gautier attended the Orange County Sheriff’s Reserve Academy, receiving the award for Highest Academic Average.

Mr. Gautier then earned his Juris Doctorate and Certificate in Business Law Studies from Western State College of Law in 2014. While in law school, Mr. Gautier served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Judge Carl Biggs, of the Orange County Superior Court and represented Western State College of Law as a member of the school’s Honors Moot Court Team. He also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from Chapman University, Dale E. Fowler School of Law.

Mr. Gautier is known for his enthusiastic and inquisitive demeanor, as well as his prompt and effective communication. Mr. Gautier also serves the local community through his participation in V.I.T.A., a program that offers free tax help to people with low-to-moderate income, senior citizens, persons with disabilities, those who have limited English proficiency and others who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns.
