Jeffrey Siegel serves as Of Counsel with Schumann Arevalo LLP. He is a seasoned litigation and appellate attorney with more than twenty-five years of experience handling complex civil litigation, insurance defense, tax disputes, and high-level appellate matters. Being licensed in five states - California, Colorado, Missouri, Kansan and Missouri - Mr. Siegel has appeared before federal and state courts across the country, including the United States Supreme Court and multiple United States Courts of Appeals. He has argued before the Supreme Court of the United States and has appeared before the United States Courts of Appeals for the Eighth, Ninth, and Tenth Circuits. His appellate and motion practice experience includes drafting and arguing dispositive motions, handling law-and-motion matters, and framing cases for appellate review. Mr. Siegel has also tried numerous cases in federal and state courts, including matters in California, Kansas, Missouri, Guam, and Saipan.

Mr. Siegel has extensive experience representing insurance carriers in complex liability and coverage disputes. He has overseen all aspects of case handling, including jury trials in federal court, mediation, and appellate strategy. His background includes managing complex coverage issues, high-exposure liability defense, and strategic case framing designed to position matters for efficient resolution.

In addition to insurance defense, Mr. Siegel has handled intricate tax controversies and IRS negotiations, successfully resolving matters that saved clients substantial financial exposure.
