Ms. Baker is an Associate Attorney at Schumann|Rosenberg. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles and her Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School.
Ms. Baker possesses over 16 years of civil litigation experience in California State and Federal Courts. She has provided legal guidance and advice to insurance carriers, their insureds, and private clients. Ms. Baker’s experience covers a broad range of legal disputes and multi-party large loss litigation, including catastrophic injury, premises liability, products liability, breach of contract, construction, medical malpractice, motor vehicle accident, insurance coverage and bad faith. She has also successfully briefed appeals in both State and Federal Courts as well as co-authored several articles involving construction defect litigation in California and Nevada.
Ms. Baker is known for her keen assessment of liability as well as her accurate development and implementation of successful case strategy in reaching favorable resolutions for her clients through summary judgment, mediation and trial. She also has a proven track record of accurately assessing the coverage obligations of insurance carriers and successfully challenging denials of coverage for her clients. Her experience includes negotiating many cost-sharing agreements between defending carriers in products liability and construction defect cases.
